LoofCo washing sponges are expertly handmade in Egypt in the loofah factory. A 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic dishwashing sponges. The Washing-Up Loofah Pad fits neatly in the hand and when immersed in water it swells into a soft, spongy, and flexible pad.

Sands when the sponge is dry. It's soft enough for nonstick pans and smooth enough to fit in cups. The pad lasts for months and can be composted when worn. Each pad has a handy cotton hanging loop. Flattened for transport to save space.
How to use
- Use in warm water with dish soap, such as a dishwashing sponge.
- To keep the loofah fresh between uses, squeeze out the excess water, shake out any food particles and hang the pad to dry on the cotton loop.
- Wash occasionally in the washing machine or by hand to use more often.
LoofCo products are 100% compostable and biodegradable, except for the metal core of the brushes, which can be recycled. The cardboard packaging is also recyclable.
