Description
Plant based soap Oryza contains rice milk, from which its name derives (the botanical name for rice is Oryza Sativa). Rice milk is a healthy (and delicious) drink, and it’s also very good for your skin. We make the rice milk for this soap from bio-dynamic basmati rice from the Nieuwe Band, a Dutch organic food cooperative. This way we know exactly what’s in the rice milk: only water and rice, and no unnecessary additives.
The rice we use is Demeter certified and grown in line with biodynamic principles in North India. It is produced as part of a Fairtrade project in which farmers receive a double premium.
Ingredients: saponified oils of coconut*, olive*, cocoa butter* and sunflower*; rice milk*; castor oil*; essential oils of bergamot*; orange*, ylang ylang*, coriander seed*, jasmine* and palmarosa*; elemi resin; madder and annatto extracts.

Each batch of soap first sits for 24 hours before being cut into 150 bars. After that, the soap is left to cure for several weeks in drying cabinets.
