The TOG value is not exactly known, but for this woolen sleeping bag it roughly corresponds to the value 1.0 TOG. This makes the sleeping bag suitable for a room temperature of 18-24 degrees. Just use a blanket at a lower room temperature.
What is TOG value?
TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and says something about the insulation value of bedding and clothing for children. The extent to which the material used retains the body heat of your child. A high TOG value means that less heat comes through the fabric and therefore more insulates or otherwise retains heat. A lower TOG value is therefore cooler.
Need help choosing the right size?
Measure your child from the shoulders to his / her outstretched feet and add 10 to a maximum of 15 cm and you have the size of the sleeping bag you need. 10 cm legroom is ideal and it should not be more space than indicated in this case. Small children cannot heat a sleeping bag with a large volume because too much cold air can get through the edges. In addition, it could happen that your child can "hide" because of a too large sleeping bag. That must be avoided at all times.
