HVID Booties are praised for a perfect fit on the heel. The laces ensure that the booties stay on tiny baby feet.
Booties and laces are made on a 3D knitting machine.
Because of the moving of the feet of the baby, pilling will occur the first times when wearing. This pilling stops after wearing the booties for several times.

MERINO WOOL IS SILKY SOFT AND DOES NOT ITCH
Unlike normal wool, merino wool does not itch thanks to the higher density (more wool hairs per square cm than in traditional wool). The hair is often 10 times thinner compared to normal sheep hair. Moreover, it feels much softer which prevents skin irritation. This makes our products so wonderfully soft and they are perfect for sensitive skin and very suitable for baby products.
MERINO WOOL IS SELF-CLEANING AND ODOR-REPELLENT
Another nice feature of this wool is that it does not smell when used intensively. The wool is naturally self-cleaning. The fiber actually contains lanolin. If it gets a bit moist, the lanolin is converted into lanolin soap, which is naturally antibacterial. Since bacteria play a major role in a sweaty odor, you keep smelling fresh. Also handy with milk odors. The wool repels bacteria due to its fine structure and is therefore very easy to maintain. You therefore need to wash products with merino wool less often. The more you wash them, the less lanolin is left and therefore you get less protection. Merino wool is a natural product that is very durable. A product made with merino wool will last for years.
MERINO WOOL IS HEAT AND HUMIDITY ABSORBENT
For babies it is not yet possible to control their own body temperature as adults can. The wool is perfect for both winter and summer. Merino wool creates a microclimate around your baby, so that they always have a constant temperature. In the summer, water is absorbed from your baby's skin. In the winter, it absorbs cold air and circulates warm air, keeping your baby warm. A constant appropriate temperature gives the baby a better chance of a deeper and restful sleep. Several studies have shown that babies who sleep in merino, cry less, sleep longer, eat better, and gain weight faster. Merino wool also has more fibers in the fabric, which means it encloses more small air particles and thereby insulates them well. It can also absorb 30% of its own weight in moisture and then let this moisture flow away from the body, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable. Merino wool breathes much better than, for example, cotton and other man-made yarns. This ensures that moisture evaporates better and overheating is prevented. You can compare it with a second skin that adapts to different circumstances.
