Beautiful sustainable and ecologically produced sheepskin tanned with sap from the bark of trees (mimosa). This old environmentally friendly method tans the fur in a gentle but thorough way. Characteristic is the beautiful beige color that the coat gets after tanning. An absolutely ecological natural fur! Limited washable 2-3 times.
The hairs of the coat are shortly shaved to around 30 mm. Ideal for babies as a base to lie on or to sit on.
If there is dirt on the coat, it is better not to wash the entire coat, but to treat the area with a damp cloth (natural soap, wool shampoo). This mimosa lamskin can only be washed to a limited extent (2-3 times).
Safety! If your baby wants to sleep on his / her belly? Than DO NOT use a lambskin in the crib, but only put it in the box or pram and ensure that your baby remains under supervision. For babies up to 12 months of age who sleep on their tummy, sleeping on a soft surface is NOT recommended. Hint: Put your sheepskin under a cotton fitted sheet.
